Christopher O'Toole

Christopher O'Toole has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades in the healthcare industry. Christopher currently serves as the Vice President of Commercial Solutions at ICON plc, where they lead a global team in areas such as Pricing, Market Access & Reimbursement, Health Economics Outcomes Research, and Global Medical Communications and Epidemiology. Prior to this, they held a non-profit role as Co-Chair of the Point of Care Marketing Association, advocating for the effective use of the point of care channel to advance health outcomes.

Christopher's previous roles include Chief Partnership Officer and SVP Alliances and Partnerships at Health Monitor Network, where they led strategic relationships with patient organizations, professional societies, and pharmaceutical companies. Christopher also worked as the Managing Partner at Nine-TZ Healthcare Ventures, focusing on patient engagement/advocacy and medical affairs, and as the President at Avant Healthcare, responsible for leading a medical communications agency.

Earlier in their career, Christopher co-founded and co-led Nine-TZ Healthcare Ventures, a healthcare consultancy providing services to pharmaceutical companies and healthcare service businesses. Christopher also served as the Senior Vice President of a specialty pharma group at the International Investment and Drug Development Group and as the President of Medical Action Communications, where they achieved significant revenue growth and oversaw global client relationships.

Christopher's expertise extends to global business development, marketing communications, and partnerships, with experience working with multinational clients in the US, UK, and Japan.
