Cobus Coetzee has extensive experience in clinical data science and management, currently serving as a Program Manager for Clinical Data Science at ICON plc since July 2021. Prior roles at ICON include Senior Principal Clinical Data Scientist Lead, Principal Clinical Data Scientist Lead, and Clinical Data Scientist Lead. Before ICON, Cobus worked as a Lead Data Manager at PRA Health Sciences and as a Data Team Lead at IQVIA, focusing on data management from December 2016 to June 2021. Prior to transitioning into clinical data roles, Cobus spent nearly a decade at Universitas Hospital in various capacities, including specialties in theatres and recovery. Cobus holds a B.Soc.Sc (Advanced) degree from the University of the Free State, obtained in 2013, and a Bachelor's degree and Honors in B.Soc.Sc from the same institution, completed in 2006.
