Cormac Dunne

Cormac Dunne has a diverse work experience spanning the fields of technology and education. Starting in 2002, they worked for Dell Computers as a Technical Team Lead. In 2004, they became a Windows System Administrator at Xilinx Ireland before moving on to Meteor Mobile Communications in 2006 as a Platforms Engineer. From 2011 to 2014, they simultaneously held the role of Team Lead Global Data Centre Operations at ICON plc while also serving as the Global IT Manager Datacenter Services. Cormac then transitioned to become the Head of Infrastructure Services at ICON in 2016, followed by Director of IT Operations in 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director Digital Cloud Services at ICON since March 2022. Additionally, in 2012, they briefly worked as an Associate Lecturer at the Institute of Technology Tallaght.

Cormac Dunne received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School in 2014. Prior to that, they completed a 1st Class Honours Bachelor of Science degree in IT Management from Technological University Dublin from 2007 to 2011. In 2015, they also obtained a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from Lean Six Sigma.
