Emad Basta

Emad Basta, MD, MPH, is currently the Director of Medical Affairs at ICON plc, a position held since 2021. Previously, Emad held various roles including Senior Medical Director and Clinical Data Manager at INC Research from 2005 to 2007, and worked as Clinical Research Manager at Rush University Medical Center from 2002 to 2005. Emad also served as Senior Medical Director at PRA Health Sciences from 2015 to 2021. Emad earned an MD from Universitatea „Ovidius” din Constanța and a Master of Public Health from Benedictine University. Emad began their academic journey with pre-medical studies at the University of Szeged.
