Laura Smith

Laura Smith has a strong background in data management, with experience in leading data teams and managing data for various companies. Laura is currently working as a Lead Data Manager at ICON plc since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked at IQVIA from September 2019 to August 2021, holding the position of Data Team Lead. Before joining IQVIA, Laura worked for Frontier Science & Technology Research Foundation, Inc. (FSTRF) as the Chief Data Manager from November 2001 to September 2019.

Laura Smith attended the University at Buffalo from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a specialization in Public Health. Prior to that, they studied at the Rochester Institute of Technology from 1994 to 1998, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biotechnology.
