Matthew Appel

Matthew Appel is currently a Senior Regulatory Associate at ICON PLC, where they leverage a strong background in biology and hands-on industry experience to enhance their understanding of regulatory project management. Matthew previously served as a Regulatory Intern at ICON PLC and earned a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Yale University. They are currently pursuing a Master of Professional Science in Regulatory Science at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy and are eager to expand their expertise in regulatory affairs. As a former student-athlete, Matthew brings a unique perspective to their professional endeavors.
