Rhea Pavan

Rhea Pavan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Rhea began their career as a Qualitative Research Internship at The Third Eye, where they created and implemented a template system to improve data gathering and worked on presentations for clients. Rhea then worked as an Administrative Assistant to the Admissions Department at the Canadian International School in Singapore, where they handled data entry, organized assessments, and taught a summer school course in Website Design. Following that, Rhea worked as an IBO English and Mathematics Substitute Teacher at the English Montreal School Board, assuming full responsibilities of a regular classroom teacher and designing curriculum in accordance with the IB curriculum.

Rhea transitioned to the field of cognitive neuroscience as a Cognitive Neuroscience Research Assistant at The Montreal Neurological Institute, where they ensured compliance with regulatory requirements and led a team in producing atlases of the brain using scientific software and the Adobe Creative Suite. Rhea then joined the University Health Network as a Clinical Research Coordinator, where they coordinated and monitored global multicentre studies, developed study-related materials, and maintained regulatory binders.

In 2017, Rhea joined Everest Clinical Research as a Clinical Data Manager I and later progressed to the role of Clinical Data Manager II. During their time at Everest, they managed clinical data and ensured compliance with study protocols and regulatory requirements.

Currently, Rhea is employed at ICON plc as a Principal Clinical Data Scientist Lead. Prior to this role, they held positions as Senior Clinical Data Scientist Lead and Lead Data Manager at the same company. Rhea'sresponsibilities include leading clinical data science teams and managing data for clinical trials.

Throughout their career, Rhea has demonstrated expertise in data management, research coordination, and teaching, making their a valuable asset in various industries.

Rhea Pavan completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Double Major Psychology and Sociology from McGill University, from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained an IB Diploma in Psychology, Biology, and Economics from UWC South East Asia, from 2004 to 2007.
