Richard Pitman

Richard Pitman is a Principal and Lead Epidemiologist at ICON plc, a position held since October 2006. Prior to this role, Richard served as a Senior Scientist at the Health Protection Agency from 2002 to 2006 and at the Communicable Disease Surveillance Centre from 2000 to 2002. Earlier in Richard's career, experience included serving as a Post Doctoral Research Associate at Imperial College London from 1997 to 2000 and at the Oxford University Department of Zoology from 1993 to 1997. Richard Pitman holds a PhD in Quantitative Biology and Epidemiology from Imperial College London, obtained between 1990 and 1993.
