Ronan Fox

Ronan Fox is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in IT research and development. Currently serving as Senior VP of IT R&D at ICON plc since April 2016, Ronan leads a global team focused on innovative software solutions that enhance the company's operations. Previously held roles at ICON include VP and Senior Director in IT R&D, overseeing the full software product lifecycle and implementing agile methodologies for efficiency. Ronan's career also includes directing technology at Bridges Software, leading architecture at Avaya, and spearheading healthcare research initiatives at the Digital Enterprise Research Institute. Early career achievements include co-founding 'The Appointments Page' and consulting for project management at Digital Equipment Corporation. Ronan holds a PhD in Informatics from the University of Galway.
