Thomas Sterk

Thomas Sterk is currently a Clinical Trial Site Management Associate at ICON plc, where responsibilities include managing, implementing, and monitoring clinical studies, as well as identifying, training, and closing out study sites. Previously, Thomas held an internship role in Clinical Delivery, serving as a liaison for study sites and assisting with feasibility and recruitment tasks. Prior experience includes a Business Development Internship at PharPoint Research, Inc., where Thomas built a funnel of prequalified leads and supported account management activities. Thomas also served as a Supplemental Instruction Leader for Human Anatomy & Physiology and Microbiology at the University of North Carolina Wilmington and worked as an Employment Specialist at Cape Fear Group Homes and Vocational Services. In addition, Thomas served in various capacities in the United States Marine Corps from August 2013 to December 2020. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Clinical Research at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, Thomas maintains a GPA of 3.8.
