Val Stone is a Senior Manager of Laboratory Operations at ICON plc, where they oversee clinical laboratory activities with a focus on efficiency and compliance. With a proven track record in laboratory management, Val has previously held senior roles at Clinical Reference Laboratory and Quest Diagnostics, successfully supervising high-volume testing departments and implementing new laboratory procedures. Val holds an MBA and is pursuing a Doctor of Clinical Laboratory Science at the University of Kansas Medical Center. They have been recognized with multiple awards, including the Gambino Quality Award and Teaching Technologist of the Year. Val is also a founding co-chair of the Communication Committee for the Midwest Women in Leadership Chapter.
