Brooke Fiala has been working in the scientific field since 2013. Brooke began their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Baker Lab at the Institute for Protein Design, University of Washington. Brooke then progressed to Research Scientist/Engineer Assistant in the King Lab, followed by Research Scientist/Engineer II in the same lab. Most recently, they have been serving as Research Scientist/Engineer III and Nanoparticle Production Core Lead at the Institute for Protein Design, University of Washington. In 2021, Brooke Fiala began working as a Scientist at Icosavax, Inc.
Brooke Fiala received their Bachelor of Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Washington in 2014.
