Associate Researcher II at Icosavax

Nicholas Klahn has worked in the field of research and industrial hygiene. From 2019 to 2022, they worked as an Industrial Hygiene Intern at EMSL Analytical, Inc., where they prepared and analyzed air and drug samples using HPLC and GC instrumentation. Additionally, they created and improved instrumental methods for Agilent GC-FIDs, HPLCs, and LC-MSs. In 2022, they began working as an Associate Researcher II at Icosavax, Inc., where they assisted in the purification and analysis of recombinant proteins and virus-like particles via cytiva Akta. Nicholas also worked with liquid chromatography systems (Waters and Agilent) and software (Empower 3, ChemStation, and Unicorn). Nicholas also analyzed proteins by UPLC and HPLC SEC, UV/Vis, DLS, and SDS PAGE.

Nicholas Klahn began their educational journey in 2014, when they attended Palmyra High School until 2018. Nicholas then went on to pursue an Associate's degree in Biology, General at Rowan College at Burlington County from 2018 to 2020. Nicholas is currently enrolled in Rowan University, where they are working towards a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, which they are expected to complete in 2022. Additionally, Nicholas has obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including C# and .NET Essential Training, Programming Foundations: Algorithms, Learning C#, Programming Foundations: Object-Oriented Design, and Python Essential Training.
