Aditi Nayar

Chief Economist, Head- Research & Outreach at ICRA

Aditi Nayar has a strong background in economics and research. Aditi began their career at The World Bank in 2005 as a Research Analyst, where they worked until 2007. In 2007, they joined ICRA as a Principal Economist, a role they held until 2021. During their time at ICRA, they also served as Chief Economist and Head of Research & Outreach from 2021 to 2023. Aditi is currently serving as Chief Economist and Head of Research & Outreach at ICRA.

Aditi Nayar pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics and Psychology at Indiana University Bloomington from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, they completed their secondary education at Delhi Public School - R. K. Puram, graduating with an AISSCE in Commerce in 1999. Aditi then went on to obtain a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) degree in Economics from the University of Oxford from 2003 to 2005. Aditi Nayar also attended Bryn Mawr College from 1999 to 2001, studying Economics and Psychology.
