Baba Alkaya

Baba Alkaya is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Comptable 1 at Comite international de la Croix Rouge CICR since December 2024. Responsibilities include managing high-quality accounting, preparing monthly closings, archiving financial documents, coordinating cash management, and ensuring compliance with financial procedures. Prior roles include Base Accountant at Welthungerhilfe, where tasks involved project accounting and financial data management, and Administrative and Financial Manager at Oxfam International Mali. Baba also has experience as a Financial Manager at AVSF / ADESAH and as an Economics and Management Professor at Lycées Privés Garba Maïga et Alkaya Touré de Tombouctou.
