Jan Vandersluis, Jr.

Jan Vandersluis, Jr. has extensive work experience in the security industry. Jan started their career in 1983 at The Wackenhut Corporation, where they served as the Director of Nuclear Security Operations for 12 years, overseeing security teams at 13 Nuclear Power Plant locations. Jan was responsible for various tasks including corporate support, P&L management, training, compliance, site visits, contract management, and sales. Jan also played a leadership role in the Six Sigma Team and negotiated contracts with facility management to improve profitability.

In 2001, Jan joined Tyco Integrated Security as an Account Executive, where they worked until 2016. Their responsibilities included maintaining and developing client relationships.

Jan then joined ADT Home Security Alarm System as a District Sales Manager, where they served two separate periods, from 2001 to 2016 and from 2014 to 2016 as well. Jan also held the role of Florida Area Sales Manager from 2008 to 2014.

Jan later worked at Video Security Systems, Inc. as a Security Sales and Marketing Consultant for a brief period in 2016.

Jan's next position was as a Sales and Marketing Manager at Vector in the same year.

In 2018, they became the Sales Manager at IC Realtime.

Currently, Jan is employed as a Sales Representative at Total LifeSafety Corporation, a position they have held since 2019.

Jan Vandersluis, Jr. started their education at the University of Miami from 1979 to 1982. During this time, they pursued a degree in Business with a focus on the same field. Following this, they enrolled in Pacific Western University from 1989 to 1990 to further their studies in Business.
