Didier Coulomb

General engineer, exceptional class (X 1979, ENGREF 1984), was head of the agricultural economics department at the DDAF du Nord. In 1987 he joined the General Planning Commission, as project manager for the agri-food, forestry, timber and fishing industries. In 1990, he was appointed head of the innovation and technology mission at the General Directorate for Food of the Ministry of Agriculture. From 1994 to 2002, he held the position of head of the innovation and regional action department, then deputy director of innovation and technological development at the Ministry of Research. In 2003 he was appointed Secretary General of CIRAD. Since the end of 2004, he has been Director General of the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR).
