Raya Das

Raya Das is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in research and teaching within social sciences. Currently serving as a Faculty Fellow at ICRIER since April 2022, Raya previously held the position of Senior Research Fellow at Jawahar Lal Nehru University from July 2017 to April 2022, while also completing a PhD as a Researcher PhD Student at the same institution from June 2017 to April 2022. Additional roles include Research Associate at the Centre for Women's Development Studies from November 2020 to December 2021 and a Consultant at the Foundation of Agrarian Studies for a brief period in early 2021. Raya earned an MPhil focused on Agricultural Households in India from Jawaharlal Nehru University, completing this degree in 2017 following a PhD candidacy that emphasized social sciences.
