James Matanky

James Matanky is a seasoned real estate professional with extensive leadership experience. Since 1990, James has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Matanky Realty Group, a comprehensive real estate firm established in 1955, known for its focus on neighborhood revitalization and recognized as the Chicago Neighborhood Developer of the Year in 2000 and 2006. James also holds the position of President at MRG Construction Corp., an affiliate of Matanky Realty Group, and serves as a Commissioner for the Chicago Housing Authority. Involvement with ICSC includes being the North American Lead Ambassador and roles as Director of the Illinois State Planning Committee and Chairman of the Illinois Operations Committee. Additionally, James is the Chairman of SSA 13 - Chicago Stockyards Commission and has previous experience as an attorney at Much Shelist. Educational credentials include a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Cambridge and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Illinois College of Law.
