Franciszek Rakowski currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Simmundi since June 2022 and has been a Project Leader at ICM University of Warsaw since February 2020, where Franciszek heads the ICM UW Epidemiological Model. Rakowski leads the Artificial Intelligence Team at ICsec S.A. and is a member of the Advisory Board for the Ministry of Health, Poland, focusing on COVID-19 epidemic analysis and forecasting. Additional roles include membership in PrediqTank and participation on the Polish Prime Minister's Covid-19 Advisory Board from February to November 2023. Rakowski held a Fulbright Scholar position at the University of Washington in 2023 and served as an expert for the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Poland. Prior experience includes being a Principal Data Scientist at Samsung Electronics, focusing on acoustic intelligence, and a researcher at ICM Warsaw University. Rakowski earned a Ph.D. in Physics from Warsaw University of Technology.
