Ajinkya Shirgaonkar

Ajinkya (Jinks) Shirgaonkar is an experienced IT professional specializing in security, risk management, and compliance. Currently serving as the Director of IT Security, Risk, and Compliance at ICU Medical since October 2021, Ajinkya leads the Enterprise IT Security and Cybersecurity initiatives. Prior to this role, Ajinkya held multiple positions at Entegris from March 2004 to May 2021, culminating in the role of Director of IT Security, Risk, and Compliance, where oversight of the Enterprise Information Security Program and interactions with the Board of Directors were key responsibilities. Earlier career experience includes the role of Director of IT Business Systems, GRC, and Security, alongside positions as Program Manager and Senior Systems Engineer, which involved the management of global IT solutions and project deliveries. Ajinkya began the professional journey as a Customer Support Engineer at Wipro Infotech Ltd, providing consulting services for banking clients. Ajinkya holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
