Jay Breindel

Jay Breindel is an experienced R&D manager specializing in product design and development, currently employed at ICU Medical since August 2018. Prior roles include senior R&D product line engineer and research and development engineer at Smiths Medical, and design engineer at Covidien from September 2011 to July 2018. Jay's expertise involves leading product development projects, utilizing customer feedback for innovation, facilitating design activities, and mentoring interns. Notable achievements include leading ideation sessions that resulted in six patent applications and enhancing industrial design processes at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where Jay also served as a teaching and research assistant.
