Jon Johnson

Jon Johnson is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in tooling and mold design. Currently serving as Principal Tooling Engineer AME at ICU Medical since October 2022, Jon collaborates with engineering R&D teams to ensure part designs are moldable while adhering to quality standards. Prior to this role, Jon worked as Sr. Tooling Engineer NPI at CPC - Colder Products Company, where Jon maintained quality and design intent in mold construction. Jon's experience includes a tenure at Smiths Medical as Sr. Tooling and Molding Specialist, focusing on part design and supplier collaboration. Jon also held Senior Project Engineer positions at Advanced Molding Technologies and JunoPacific, directing complex projects from conception through production and ensuring cost control. Additionally, Jon has managed quality assurance processes and holds several certifications in SolidWorks and Lean Manufacturing along with a degree in Mold Design and Mold Building.
