Sam Cleaveland

Sam Cleaveland, CPP, currently serves as Senior Manager of R&D Packaging Engineering at ICU Medical, a role undertaken since January 2022 following the acquisition of Smiths Medical. Prior to this position, Sam held a similar title at Smiths Medical from September 2018 to January 2022 and served as Director of Client Solutions for the Midwest Region at Network Partners from January 2017 to August 2018. Additional experience includes roles at Integer Holdings Corporation, Sterilmed, St. Jude Medical, American Medical Systems, Boston Scientific, and Independent Packing Services, Inc., where Sam managed various aspects of packaging engineering and operations. Sam’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering/Packaging Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, earned between 1985 and 1991.
