Joseph Puliafico

Joseph Puliafico has over 29 years of work experience in various roles in the ski and tramway industry. Joseph most recently served as the Director of Mountain Operations at Icy Strait Point - Hoonah Alaska since January 2020. Prior to that, they were the Director of Tram Maintenance at Sandia Peak Ski & Tramway from October 2017 to December 2019. Joseph also held multiple roles at Goldbelt, Incorporated, including Director of Maintenance & Operations from January 2013 to October 2017, Director of Operations from June 2011 to December 2012, and Tram Maintenance & Operations Manager from April 2002 to June 2011. In addition, Joseph served as the Director of Lift Maintenance at Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe from January 2000 to April 2002 and held various positions as a Lift Mechanic, Electrician, Groomer, etc. from 1991 to 1999 at the same company.

Joseph Puliafico completed their high school education at Willow Glen High School from 1986 to 1989, earning a diploma. Joseph then pursued further education in the field of Electrical/Electronics Maintenance and Repair Technology at Truckee Meadows Community College. Afterward, they studied Marine Transportation at the University of Alaska Southeast.
