Dan Black

Behind every successful logistics company is a brilliant warehouse management guru. At Symbia, it’s no secret that Dan Black is the man behind the curtain. Current and previous colleagues describe Dan as a “consummate professional” who never misses a deadline – even during the most stressful situations. Dan credits his solution-oriented mindset for his uncanny ability to overcome obstacles even when the chips are down.

Prior to joining Symbia in 2018, Dan served as IT Manager for Greatwide Logistics and worked as a Project Lead for Ascension Logistics. With over 20 years of experience in the logistics industry, Dan always welcomes the chance to meet new customers and uncover ways that Symbia can meet their operational needs.

When Dan isn’t focused on enhancing operations at Symbia, he enjoys sports and outdoor activities. Trips to the beach for a day of snorkeling are one of his favorite pastimes, closely followed by a day outdoors catching a ballgame. Whether he’s coaching his children’s soccer teams or cheering on the San Diego Padres, Dan enjoys staying active.
