Cody Cummings

Cody Cummings has a diverse and extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Cody is currently working at ID Dataweb as a Senior Software Engineer, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at CoStar Group from 2019 to 2022, initially as a Software Engineer and then as a Senior Software Engineer.

Before joining CoStar Group, Cody was the founder of Swerv, LLC from 2016 to 2019. As the founder, they were responsible for setting up the AWS infrastructure, including VPC, ELB, EC2 instances, RDS instances, and security groups.

From 2016 to 2019, Cody also worked at EAGLE TECHNOLOGIES, INC. as a Software Developer. During their time there, they contributed to teams working with single-page applications using React frontend, Play Framework backend, and Postgres database. Cody also obtained their AWS Solutions Architect Associate Certification in March 2017 and gained experience with geolocation services such as CartoDB.

Cody's career began at Eagle Technologies in 2015, where they worked as a Mobile Application Developer for a brief period.

Cody Cummings attended Virginia Tech from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science.
