Girish Bhakta

Girish Bhakta has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Girish started their career at Trigyn Technologies in 1998 as a Senior Developer, where they worked until 2002. Girish then joined the Fannie Mae Foundation as a Senior Developer and continued in that role until 2007. Bhakta then worked at Verizon as a Senior Developer/Technical Architect for a brief period of time before joining the U.S. Government Printing Office as a Lead Software Engineer. During their time at the U.S. Government Printing Office, they built a web application called Federal Document System (FDSys) that facilitated online searching and displaying of federal publications. In 2012, Bhakta transitioned to ID DataWeb, where they held multiple roles. Girish initially served as a Senior Software Architect and was responsible for designing and building the first concept turned prototype for the Attribute Exchange Network (AXN) SaaS platform, as well as managing the deployment of various AWS components. Subsequently, Bhakta progressed to become a Principal Solutions Architect/Engineering Manager, before assuming their current position as the Vice President of Engineering, where they oversee the engineering operations of the company.

Girish Bhakta completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai from 1995 to 1998. Girish also obtained additional certifications, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services in August 2015, and Sun Certified Enterprise Architect in September 2005.
