Joe Spalluto

Joseph J. Spalluto is a former Group Head, Fixed Income, for Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, an investment bank specializing in the financial services sector. He is an accomplished business leader with over 30 years of sales, management, strategic and operational experience in the investment banking industry. Mr. Spalluto led the crisis management team that worked with the families of colleagues who were killed in the September 11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center where Keefe, Bruyette & Woods was headquartered. Mr. Spalluto also served on the Board of Directors of Online Resources from 1996-2010 (NASDQ “ORCC”), subsequently acquired by ACI Worldwide). ORCC was a provider of internet banking and bill paying services to banks and credit unions.

In 2012 Mr. Spalluto retired from KBW. He has since focused his efforts on various Boards and Committees. Currently, Mr. Spalluto serves as an advisor to the IDFund, an investor directed fund focused on private investment opportunities for accredited investors. Mr. Spalluto also serves on the Board of Directors of the St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center (Hartford, CT). He has also served on the Board of the St. Francis Foundation. Additionally Mr. Spalluto is currently a member of the Board of Trustees at the University of St. Joseph (West Hartford, CT) and he is the Chairman of 9-11Day.org (aka, MyGoodDeed), an organization that has been instrumental in commemorating 9/11 as an annual day of service globally. Mr. Spalluto earned a Bachelor’s degree from Amherst College, and a JD from the University of Connecticut School of Law.
