Paul joined ID FUND with nearly 20 years of experience bringing startup technology, including SaaS, analytics, online advertising, social media, digital video advertising, big data and IOT technologies, to large global corporations. He was most recently a founding member of Conduce Inc., solving big data and IoT challenges for F500 companies and the global consultancies that service them, by delivering bleeding edge data orchestration and visualization technology. Paul began his startup career in 2000 as an early employee of the event registration service Active.com in La Jolla, CA, now a multinational corporation headquartered in Dallas after being purchased by Vista Equity Partners for $1.1B.

He then went on to help build Urchin Software into a leading online analytics provider, positioning them for acquisition by Google in April 2005. Over the next 4 years, Paul led sales, implementation and consulting for Google Analytics’ suite of products covering more than 60% of the F1000 and was a key figure in on-going product development. Paul rejoined the San Diego startup scene at the powerful social media marketing platform Brickfish, acquired by Social Mecca in 2011, before moving back to New England in 2013 to serve as GM of Publishing and Analytics for Visible Measures Corporation, recognized as the top video analytics provider and top a 10 viral video ad network. VMC was recently acquired by AcuityAds. Paul has raised funding from the angel/seed level through late round venture capital and has nearly two decades of equity holdings in ad tech and enterprise software.
