Neha Bala worked as a Senior Developer at iD Tech Camps since July 2020. Prior to that, Neha was a Research Assistant at New York Institute of Technology from September 2016 to May 2020. During their time as a Research Assistant, Neha developed a system to detect Android smartphone malware, collaborated on Android HIV research, and created attack model algorithms using Java and Python. Neha also worked as a Program Assistant, managing social media accounts, designing web content, and promoting programs. Neha also served as a REU Intern at the National Science Foundation in 2019, conducting research on malware detection in Android smartphones. In addition, Neha has experience as a Programming Curriculum Developer at P.S. 354 The STEM Institute of Queens in 2016. Neha holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from New York Institute of Technology.
