Maria Buchnieva, CPA, CGA, FCCA

Maria Buchnieva is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Global Accountant (CGA), and Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) with over a decade of work experience. Maria started their career as an Advanced Audit Service Staff at EY in 2008 and worked there until 2010. In 2010, they joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Associate and worked there until 2012. Afterward, they worked as an Accountant at an International Company from 2012 to 2016. In 2016, they joined Aecon Group Inc. as a Senior Accountant and later worked as a Financial Reporting Manager and Manager of Corporate Development & Investor Relations until 2021. From 2021 to 2022, they worked as a Senior Manager of Finance and Finance Director at Prodly. Currently, they are working at ID5.io as a Director of Finance from June 2023 onwards.

Maria Buchnieva received their Master's degree in Management of Foreign Economic Activity from Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics (KNUTE) between 2004 and 2010. Maria then went on to obtain multiple certifications, including the CPA CGA from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) in October 2016, the ACCA from ACCA in August 2012, and the FCCA in September 2017.
