Peter L. Ottosen

Peter L. Ottosen is a Leading Specialist at COWI with over a decade of experience in the Railways, Light rail, and Metro sectors. Currently serving as the Technical Area Manager for the Railway & Metro department, Peter holds pivotal roles such as Network Leader for Power supply, Earthing and bonding, EMC, and Traction power supply for the Catenary system. Peter has also been involved in various capacities including Project Manager, Discipline Leader, and Specialist, focusing on power supply, stray current, and earthing and bonding for both national and international railway and light rail projects. In addition to professional responsibilities, Peter is the Vice Chairman of IDA Rail, contributing to technical network initiatives while previously gaining foundational experience in industrial electricity as a trainee and apprentice. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Power Engineering from Copenhagen University College of Engineering.
