Brendan McDonald has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Brendan started their career as a Bank Official at HSBC, where they handled Bureau de Change and Western Union money transfers. After that, they worked as a Solicitor at Coughlan white & partners, where they dealt with various legal matters including conveyancing, civil litigation, criminal litigation, and employment law. Later, Brendan co-founded Live Work Play Ireland. Brendan also worked at IDA Ireland in various roles, including Business & Relationship Development Manager and VP of Engineering & Green Economy. Currently, they are involved in Bed Time Story Publishing.

Brendan McDonald's education history begins with their enrollment at the University of Limerick from 1999 to 2003, where they pursued a degree in Law & European Studies with a focus on French and History. During their time at university, they acquired a strong understanding of these subjects.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Brendan pursued further legal training at the Law Society of Ireland from 2006 to 2008. This training led him to obtain a Professional Qualification in Advocat/Solicitor/Lawyer Training, enhancing their expertise in the legal field.

In 2010, Brendan continued their education by undertaking a Diploma in Legal French, which was offered jointly by the Alliance Francaise and the Law Society of Ireland. This diploma program focused specifically on French law.

To expand their knowledge in environmental and planning law, Brendan completed a Diploma at the Law Society of Ireland in 2014. This certification further solidified their expertise in this specialized area of the law.

In 2015, Brendan enrolled in the Irish Management Institute and attained a Diploma in International Business Development. This program provided him with the necessary skills and knowledge to engage in international business ventures.

Brendan's education journey culminated in their pursuit of a Diploma of Education in Business Sustainability Management at the University of Cambridge, where they completed their studies in 2021. This degree demonstrates their commitment to integrating sustainability principles into business practices.

In addition to their formal education, Brendan also obtained a certification in "Introducing Robotic Process Automation" from LinkedIn in October 2020. This certification showcases their dedication to staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and their implications in the business world.
