Gary Dempsey

Gary Dempsey has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in different companies. Gary started their career as a Portfolio Analyst at AIB (Capital Markets) in 2007. In 2009, they joined Metlife as an Accountant and worked there until 2011. In 2012, they worked as a Treasury Accountant at Study Group before joining Morgan McKinley as a Consultant later that year. From 2014 to 2016, Gary served as an International Financial Services - Business Development Executive at IDA Ireland, where they collaborated with global companies in attracting FDI and supporting existing clients in Ireland. Gary then took on the role of Chief of Staff to the CEO at IDA Ireland from 2016 to 2017. Following that, they became the Vice President of Technology, Consumer and Business Services at IDA Ireland from 2017 to 2022. Currently, Gary holds the role of Vice President in the Emerging Technology Division at IDA Ireland, starting in 2022.

Gary Dempsey completed their education with a Certificate in International Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2019. Prior to that, they pursued an MBA in International Business from the Waterford Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2009. In 2003, they obtained their BA degree in Financial Services from the same institute.
