Laura Youngson

Laura Youngson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Laura is the CEO and Co-Founder of Ida Sports since 2018, where they aim to create the ultimate female football boot. Laura is also a Co-Founder of Equal Playing Field since 2016, where they have organized events to highlight gender inequalities in sport and set world records. Laura has worked as a Consultant at Luna Tractor since 2018. In 2017, Laura successfully co-founded Brunswick Aces, a non-alcoholic spirits business, and exited in 2019. Laura also pursued a Masters of Entrepreneurship at the University of Melbourne and served as a Speaker at TEDxMelbourne. Additionally, Laura has been a Fellow at The RSA, a Co-Founder and Board Trustee at the Lightyear Foundation, and a Manager at PwC Middle East. Laura has held leadership roles at the Abu Dhabi Science Festival as well.

Laura Youngson's education history is as follows:

From 2003 to 2007, Laura studied at Durham University and obtained an MSci degree in Physics.

In 2014 and 2015, they attended The Open University and completed a Level 3 Module in Infectious Disease and Public Health.

In 2017, Laura enrolled at the University of Melbourne and obtained a Masters of Entrepreneurship.

During the same year, they also pursued a Masters Module in Sports Performance footwear and apparel design at RMIT University.

Additionally, Laura has obtained certifications such as the Venture Deals Summer 2020 from Kauffman Fellows and the PRINCE2 Project Management from the UK Civil Service.
