As Co-Founder of the company, she is passionate about creating an engaging a community for investors, analysts, corporations and academics to connect and collaborate around global financial data.
Christine served on the core SEC team that designed and built the first XBRL US GAAP Taxonomy. Prior to forming idaciti, Christine also served as XBRL Project Manager at the Financial Accounting Standards Board, where she led the team that was responsible for updating the US GAAP Financial Reporting Taxonomy for new accounting pronouncements, common reporting practices, and ongoing taxonomy architectural developments.
Christine’s academic research in financial reporting has been published in a number of leading accounting journals and she is a member of the Financial Accounting Standards Board’s Taxonomy Advisory Group and the International Accounting Standards Board IFRS Taxonomy Consultative Group . She also contributed to the XBRL for Dummies textbook, published in 2009 by Wiley.
Christine received her Ph.D. in accounting and finance from the University of Melbourne in Australia and has served as an accounting professor at several universities in New York. She has consulted with a number of Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, investment banks and private equity firms.
