Stephanie Dillon

Vice President of Communications & Marketing at Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine

Stephanie Dillon has worked in the communications and marketing field since 2008. In 2008, they began as a News Intern at Sinclair Broadcast Group, where they assisted in producing the station's 5 am and 6 am shows, and wrote daily cut-ins for the morning newscasts. In 2010, they became a Reporter/Anchor at Fisher Communications, where they wrote, shot, edited and produced daily stories as a one-man-band. In 2011, they participated in a News Fellowship at Meredith Corporation, where they shadowed producers, reporters, photographers and anchors. In 2012, they became a Reporter/Anchor at KIFI News Group, where they focused on storytelling through compelling audio and video. In 2014, they became a Reporter/Editor at Saratoga Publishing. In 2015, they became a Communications Specialist at Capital Region BOCES, where they provided strategic communications guidance to school administrators and the board of education. In 2017, they became a Multimedia Journalist at The E.W. Scripps Company. Finally, in 2018 they became the Vice President of Communications & Marketing, and later the Director of Communications and Marketing, at Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine. In their current role, they provide oversight of public and government relations, communication strategies, and marketing functions for ICOM, while advancing the school and its mission.

Stephanie Dillon attended the University of Idaho from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. Stephanie then went on to attend Washington State University Graduate School from 2020 to 2022, where they earned a Graduate Certificate in Strategic Communication.
