Dan Smith is an experienced energy advisor at Idaho Power Company, where employment commenced in November 2018. In this role, Dan interacts with residential and small to medium-sized commercial customers to enhance their understanding of electric energy efficiency and address any concerns. Prior to this position, Dan served as a customer representative from February 1998, supporting energy efficiency programs and resolving customer issues. Additionally, Dan held the role of metering team lead, supervising and mentoring a team of 18 metering employees during a challenging period within the department. Dan is a graduate of Boise Senior High School.
