Alex Polshikov has a strong background in investment management and portfolio oversight. Alex began their career at SS&C GlobeOp as an Associate from September 2003 to March 2006. Alex then moved to Morgan Stanley where they served as an Associate from March 2006 to August 2007. Alex joined Itaú Unibanco in April 2011 and held multiple roles, including Head of Fund Research, UCITS, and Portfolio Manager, Multi-Asset Funds. During their time at Itaú Unibanco, they managed a multi-billion dollar discretionary active asset allocation fund, oversaw a $20 billion+ fund list for distribution, and sourced various asset management strategies. Most recently, they joined Israel Discount Bank in November 2018 as Chief Investment Officer, International Private Banking. In this role, they oversee a multi-billion dollar international private banking platform and develops investment ideas for distribution. Alex also conducts internal investment activities such as hosting morning meetings and establishing economic and market forecasts.
Alex Polshikov obtained their MBA from Columbia Business School between 2007 and 2009. Prior to that, they received their BS in Finance & Economics from Carnegie Mellon University from 1999 to 2003. Additionally, they hold certifications in Series 7 and 63 from FINRA.
