James Kang

James Kang is currently a VP - Senior Security Engineer at IDB Bank, starting in November 2021. Previously, they worked as a Cybersecurity Analyst at Castle Ventures Corporation from March 2016 to October 2021. James also had a brief tenure as an Associate Consultant/Infrastructure at International Digital Systems in January 2016. Prior to that, James was a Logistics Director at Full Line Collection Inc from July 2012 to May 2015. James started their career as a Police Officer at NYPD from July 2010 to July 2012 and worked as an Access Control Supervisor at Lago Building Management from March 2009 to July 2010.

James Kang attended Rutgers University from 2004 to 2008, where they achieved a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science. In addition to their degree, they obtained certifications as a ForeScout Certified Engineer and a ForeScout Certified Administrator from ForeScout Technologies Inc., in 2019 and 2018 respectively.
