Jorge Fernandez, CISA, CDPSE is an experienced professional with a diverse work history. Jorge began their career as an Independent Consultant, providing subject matter advice, project management, and business analysis for financial institutions in the US and Latin America. Jorge then worked as a Senior Manager at Capgemini (Kanbay) and later as a Senior Managing Consultant at IBM Global Services. Jorge also gained experience as a Senior Manager at Accenture and as a Senior Subject Matter Advisor at PwC. Jorge joined BCG Platinion, a company of The Boston Consulting Group, as an Expert Advisor in 2016 and held this role until 2020. Currently, Jorge is serving as the Lead Audit Data Analyst at IDB Bank. Throughout their career, they have developed expertise in areas such as audit data analysis, financial workflows, project management, and market data analysis.
Jorge Fernandez, CISA, CDPSE, holds an MBA in Finance/MIS from the Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago. Jorge also has a BS in Computer Science/Political Science from Northeastern Illinois University. In addition to their educational background, Jorge has obtained certifications in CDPSE (obtained in 2021) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) (obtained in 2018) from ISACA.
