Karan Kanapathipillai's work experience includes holding the position of Chief Executive Officer at IDB Lido Wealth LLC, where they are responsible for managing the day-to-day aspects of the business and executing the 5-year transformation plan for the Private Banking division. Karan has also served as the COO/CFO of Private Banking & Global Wealth Management at IDB Bank, where they were in charge of refining the strategy, designing the optimal operating model, and leading RIA acquisition targets. Karan began their career at EY as a Senior Manager/Director in Management Consulting.

Karan Kanapathipillai has a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance & Strategy from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Karan also holds a Master of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business. Additionally, they have a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems & Operations Management from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business.
