Chris Tomic, born in Düsseldorf, Germany, is a prominent computer scientist and entrepreneur recognized for creating the first mobile operator logos and ringtones in 1998. They began their career developing technologies for the internet industry before focusing on mobile innovation, inventing protocols for mobile micropayments and binary message delivery. Currently, Tomic serves as the CEO of IDB Mobile Technology and has founded several businesses, including Moira.club, Work In Marbella, and IDB Space Mission, the latter of which aims to redefine access to commercial space exploration.
