Kevin Nelson

Kevin Nelson has a wealth of experience in financial management and accounting. Kevin is currently the Chief Financial Officer at IDC Spring since February 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Controller at the same company from August 2020. From 2012 to 2020, Kevin was the Chief Financial Officer at Atlas Foundation Company, where they were responsible for preparing financial statements, managing key relationships, and employee development. Kevin also served as the Chief Financial Officer at Quality Wine and Spirits from 2011 to 2012, overseeing financial statement preparation, insurance review, and supervising staff. Kevin's earlier experiences include working as the Chief Financial Officer and Controller at Charles D. Nolan and Sons, Inc. where they prepared financial statements and helped the owners in determining the direction of their respective companies. Kevin also served as the Controller and Director of Information Services, responsible for financial statements and audits. Prior to that, Kevin worked at Agri Stats, Inc. in various roles including Accounting Manager for New Business Development, Audit Manager, Manager of Information Services, and Account Auditor. Throughout their career, Kevin has demonstrated strong leadership, financial expertise, and the ability to handle complex relationships.

Kevin Nelson earned an MBA in Accounting from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2000-2001. Kevin also holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Minnesota State University Moorhead. Prior to that, they obtained a High School Diploma in General Studies from Detroit Lakes Senior High School. Additionally, Kevin has certifications as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and Certified in Financial Management (CFM) from the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA).
