Cathy Huang

Cathy Huang is a seasoned Research Director at IDC since August 2014, overseeing the Worldwide Security Services research practice and collaborating with global analysts to produce actionable insights for IT buyers and suppliers. Previously, Cathy held various positions at IDC, including Associate Research Director and Senior Research Manager, where involvement in the Asia/Pacific Services Research Group encompassed leadership in cloud and security services research. Prior to IDC, Cathy was a Research Manager at Frost & Sullivan, progressing from a research analyst to a leadership role, and gaining expertise in the Asia Pacific ICT ecosystem, particularly in information security and cloud computing. Cathy holds a Master's degree in Public Policy from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor's degree in Social Science from the City University of Hong Kong.
