Greg Medlock

Director, Research, Micro & Translational at Vedanta Biosciences

Greg Medlock is currently the Director of Research at Vedanta Biosciences, Inc. Greg previously served as an Associate Director of Research at the University of Virginia, where Greg was also an Assistant Professor in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, & Nutrition. Prior to that, Greg worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate and PhD Candidate at the same institution. Greg's research focuses on gut microbial metabolism, utilizing systems biology and machine learning approaches. Greg also has experience as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Washington, where Greg studied functional mutations in tropomyosin. Greg holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor's Degree in Bioengineering from the University of Washington.
