Daniel Gonçalves

Research Manager

Daniel Gonzalez is currently a Research Assistant at the Columbia Electrochemical Energy Center, focusing on electrochemical systems with an emphasis on battery and metal production technologies. Previously, Daniel contributed as a Research Assistant at the Columbia Fusion Research Center, where efforts were directed towards the assembly and operation of the pellet ablation experiment under Professor Paz-Soldan's guidance. Daniel is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Earth and Environmental Engineering at Columbia University, complemented by minors in material science engineering and mining engineering. Academic experiences include participation in secondary school programs at Harvard University in Macroeconomics and Physics Electromagnetism, as well as an English Language certification from Universidad de El Salvador.
