Heather Herbst

Heather Herbst is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in leading finance transformation and strategic initiatives. Currently serving as the Research Director for Worldwide CFO Tech Agenda at IDC since January 2023, Heather specializes in market and industry research for the Office of the CFO, focusing on governance, risk, and compliance. Prior to this role, Heather spent over 14 years at Boeing in various capacities, including Global Process Owner and Business Architect for Finance Transformation, where significant process redesign and compliance measures were implemented for a large finance department. Other notable positions at Boeing included leading financial operations for commercial and defense products, managing finance teams, and conducting internal audits. Heather holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from Walden University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from the University of Arizona.
