Martin Svitek

Martin Svitek is an experienced IT professional, currently serving as the IT Division Director at IDC since October 2006, where leadership involves application development teams. Previous roles at IDC included International Applications Development Manager for the CEMA, WE, and AP regions, and Application Development Manager specifically for Asia Pacific, with a base in Singapore. Martin has a background in team leadership and software development, having introduced SCRUM methodology to one of the teams. Earlier experiences include software development roles at Gitus s.r.o. and summer research at Union College. Martin holds a Master's degree in Software Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Computer Engineering from Czech Technical University in Prague, along with exchange studies in Computer Science at Nanyang Technological University and Union College.
